Case study 02 · Website
Tailored Psychiatric Wellness.
A telehealth psychiatry website for a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner, built to make reaching out feel calm and simple, with an online patient intake that replaces the paperwork.
The brief
What it needed to do.
The practice is fully virtual, led by Tonia Wallace, PMHNP-BC, and sees patients in Arizona, Illinois and North Carolina. Many visitors arrive anxious about reaching out at all, so the site needed to feel calm, personal and trustworthy from the first screen.
It also had to answer the practical questions before anyone books: what's treated, which insurance is accepted in which state, and how to get started without printing forms.
What I built
The breakdown.
Calm, personal design
A soft lavender palette, serif headlines and a welcome video so the first visit feels human, not clinical.
Telehealth benefits up front
Convenience, privacy and flexible scheduling explained right under the hero, answering "why online?" straight away.
Conditions we treat
ADHD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and medication-assisted treatment, each in plain language, plus a prompt for anything not listed.
Insurance by state
Accepted plans listed separately for Arizona, Illinois and North Carolina, so patients know where they stand before they book.
8-step online intake
A guided new-patient form with a progress bar covering contact details, pharmacy, insurance and history. Card numbers are deliberately kept out of it.
Safety on every page
Crisis line and Suicide Prevention Lifeline numbers sit in the footer of every page, always one glance away.
Up front
Leading with the numbers.
The facts that matter most, placed where they do the most work.
